- Update your address with Duke. Sign in to the Network and ensure your home and business addresses are up to date to receive email for your region. This 3-minute video tutorial can help you update your alumni profile. (Note: all emails are connected to your preferred mailing address location – if you have a Tri-State area address on file, you are coded to receive DukeNY communications.)
- Key Update if you use a Gmail Account tied to an Alumni Forwarding Address: Recently, Google has made security protections on their end, for which Duke has no control.
- When alumni have set up a lifetime email address as a forwarding address to Gmail, there now appear to be issues with consistent deliveries to that Gmail. Due to this new security change, we are encouraging alumni to keep their Gmail as preferred.
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Gmail email addresses may also need to check the Promotions or Social tab of their inbox.
- Add *[email protected] to your contacts* to ensure emails about regional Duke events are delivered to your inbox.
- Did the above and still not receiving email? Email [email protected] ****with your full name, school and class year and verify that you have not opted-out of Duke email.
